Huntington National Corporation and its wholly owned subsidiary, Huntington National Credit Corporation (collectively, "Huntington") are specialty financial services companies in the business of purchasing and resolving performing, sub-performing and non-performing loans originated by commercial banks and other financial institutions. Loans are purchased at a discount to their legal principal balance. Huntington was established in 2003 and has purchased assets from 9 different institutions and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.

Huntington focuses on purchasing whole loan relationships with face amounts in the range of $25,000 to $500,000. Purchases are normally considered as part of larger pools. Individual asset purchases are also considered.
